Scott Metzger (Founder/Principal)
Scott is a graduate of Colorado State University. He began his insurance career as a commercial producer with Liberty Mutual in 1982. Awarded the Liberty Mutual Millionaire's Club status in 1984, and received his Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation in 1985. Scott then joined Nationwide Insurance in 1986 as the first commercial agent hired in Nationwide's expansion of commercial insurance into Colorado. He was one of Nationwide's first agents to achieve independent status in 1989, opening the first Nationwide Agent office in Colorado.
Scott is a founding partner of Commercial Risk Solutions in 1993. Scott served as President of CRS form 1994 - 2018. He now serves as CEO
Scott has served on many boards and committees including the board of Professional Insurance Agents of Colorado from 2011 to 2017, and Secretary Treasurer for this organization from 2012 to 2017.
Jeff graduated from University of Northern Colorado with a BA in Business Marketing in 2001. He started on the carrier side with what is now Nationwide Insurance and moved to a national broker in 2003. Jeff began his career with CRS in 2005, and became a Managing Partner in CRS in 2017. Jeff is now serving as President of CRS. He has served as Board member of the Rocky Mountain Masonry Institute since 2008 and just finished as President 2016-2017. Jeff is also involved in the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce committee member in 2011-2016, Board member 2013-2015
When Jeff has free time it is spent with his wife Tanya and running around with their six kids and granddaughter.
Don Rivkin (Principal)
Vice President/Director of Risk Services
Don Rivkin, a Graduate of Illinois State University, is the Vice President and Director of Risk Services at CRS. Don has had 27 years in the insurance industry, and has worked on both the company and agency side. Don is active in the community, participating in many different philanthropic activities. His favorite being the Courage Classic, which benefits the Children’s Hospital Foundation. Don became a Principal at CRS in 2017.
Eric Johnson (Principal)
Eric Johnson started his career as a Commercial Insurance and Risk Management Advisor in 2007 when he joined CRS Insurance Brokerage. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Metropolitan State University, obtained his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2012, and became a Partner at CRS in 2018. Eric helps his clients understand that an insurance policy is merely one way that businesses can manage their risk. In addition to managing a client’s insurance needs, Eric will help them design, implement, and optimize all other tools utilized in risk management. Eric gives back to the Denver community by donating his time to various family and youth orientated organizations. When his isn’t in the midst of a home improvement project or tinkering in the garage, you can find Eric camping up in the mountains with his wife and two boys.
David Hite (Principal)
Commercial Insurance and Risk Management Advisor
David Hite is a Colorado State University graduate. David started his insurance career in 2005, and began at CRS in 2013. He holds an Associate In Risk Management (ARM) and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. David is passionate about helping his clients’ overall business by identifying, controlling, and mitigating risk. He is very involved in the philanthropic community. David is a long time member of Denver Active 20-30 Children’s Foundation and currently serves as Grant Review Chair and on the Board of Directors. David became a Principal at CRS in 2018.
Nathan Fonseca (Principal)
Commercial Insurance and Risk Management Advisor
Nathan Fonseca graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2009 with a Bachelor's in Economics. He began his insurance career as a Financial Specialist with Country Financial. Nathan started with CRS in 2010, and became a Managing Partner in 2017. Nathan belongs to the American Subcontractors Association. When he is not working with his clients on managing their risks, Nathan enjoys spending time with his wife and newborn son. Nathan is an avid Colorado sports fan.

Grant Chaffin graduated from Samford University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and earned his MBA from Rollins College. He joined CRS Insurance Brokerage in 2015 and attained his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2017. Grant is passionate about thoroughly understanding his client’s business operations so he can help identify and mitigate risk. He is a member of the American Fire Sprinkler Association, Colorado Fire Protection Association and has served as the Co-Chair of the Membership and Events Committee for the Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain (IECRM).
Nonie Rivale Willisch has been a sales producer for CRS Insurance since 1998 during which she has sold many different types of accounts including construction, manufacturing, retail, and outdoor adventure. Nonie served on the Pinnacol Assurance Board of Directors from 2006-2012 and the Pinnacol Foundation Board of Directors from 2008-2018. She has also been an active member of the Hispanic Contractors of Colorado since 2004 to present and served on the HCC Board from 2005 to 2013 during which she served as President 2008-2009. Nonie’s commitment to providing professional, consultative, exceptional service to her clients has become the trademark of her 30 year insurance career.
Sean Hughes graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Finance. Sean stared his career as a Commercial Insurance Risk Management Advisor in 2018. Sean is working on completing his Certified Insurance Counselor(CIC), and has an estimated completion date of Spring 2020. Sean’s main focus is keeping his clients businesses safe by identifying his clients risk and teaching them how to control and mitigate that risk. Sean believes customer service is an important part in business and with Sean, that is exactly what you get.

Brandon Fast graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio, with majors in both Finance and Business Administration. Upon graduation, Brandon joined Westfield Insurance on the carrier side as a member of their Graduate Development Program. From there, he moved onto Renewal Underwriting and eventually New Business Underwriting and Marketing for large accounts in the state of Colorado. He earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2015. Brandon joined CRS as a Commercial Insurance Advisor in 2020, and leverages his deep knowledge of the insurance marketplace, coverage operations, and carrier operations to help develop and implement risk management strategies for his clients. When not at work Brandon enjoys golfing, rooting for Ohio sports teams, and spending time with his wife Stephanie and their 3 kids.

Erin Membel has over seventeen years of experience in the insurance industry. She is an energetic and sociable person who enjoys getting to know others and building relationships. Whether on the phone or in person, her focus remains on improving current client relationships, while adding new clients into the CRS family. Erin enjoys tailoring insurance programs to meet each customer’s needs providing the coverage they want while optimizing value. While outside of work, Erin enjoys golfing, running and traveling with her husband and two teenage boys. Erin also enjoys taking her two golden doodles to local breweries.
